Fake websites mimicking real ones to steal credentials. Always check the URL โ scammers use tricky domains like amazoncom-mytv.com instead of amazon.com.
Too-good-to-be-true work-from-home offers promising โฑ500โโฑ2,000/day. They eventually ask for a "registration fee" or your personal info.
Fake "you received money" notifications with phishing links. Always open GCash/Maya directly from the app โ never click links in SMS or chat.
Scammers build fake relationships then ask for money. If someone online asks for money, it's almost always a scam.

ScamBuster PH started from a single scambaiting session โ finding a network of 8 phishing sites impersonating Amazon, doing full WHOIS recon, and reporting them to Amazon Trust & Safety, MarkMonitor, Google Safe Browsing, and Netcraft.
Within hours, Netcraft confirmed the primary URL as malicious. Amazon Security personally responded and confirmed they are investigating. That's when ScamBuster PH became a real thing.
